Scott Bessent, U.S. Treasury Secretary, wrote on X on Monday, ۱۳ Mehr, that the “economic expulsion” operation is bearing fruit and the value of the rial has reached its lowest level in history.

Bessent wrote: “In the past month, Iran has not loaded any crude oil for export, and even a senior security official in this country has admitted that they are going through one of the most difficult periods in their history.”

He added that the “economic expulsion” operation will continue until the Islamic Republic government understands that the Trump administration will not allow “financing terrorism and the development of nuclear weapons.”
