🔻Sardar Azmoun, after a period of absence from the national team, entered the pitch in the second half of Iran–Uzbekistan today instead of Denis Derkhi and also wore the captain’s armband.

🔹The forward of Al Shabab Al Ahli (UAE) was left out of the national team due to his stances against the Islamic Republic and for posting a picture alongside Dubai’s ruler during the war between the United States and Israel against the Islamic Republic. The judiciary announced that it has seized Sardar’s assets.

🔹On Shahrivar 18, Sardar Azmoun posted a picture on his Instagram story showing the flag of the Islamic Republic and one of the victims from the Minab school.

🔹After this, some Iranian media reported that Sardar Azmoun had been invited to the national football team.

🔹At the start of this week, the Football Federation reported news about Sardar Azmoun’s meeting with Mehdi Taj, the head of the federation.
