Delcy Rodríguez, interim president of Venezuela, said in her speech at the United Nations General Assembly that after overcoming political and natural crises, the country has entered a new phase.

She added that “today, Venezuela is reborn.”

Rodríguez also thanked Donald Trump and the U.S. administration for their readiness to resume diplomatic relations and cooperation with Venezuela. She said Caracas wants to maintain relations based on cooperation and mutual respect with neighboring countries and the international community.
