🔻Sally Rooney, the Irish author of the novel “Normal People,” says that because of your support for the “Action for Palestine” group, her publisher will no longer distribute her books in the UK. However, existing copies of her works are still available to be sold in bookstores.
Last year, the novelist said she intended to continue using the revenue from her book sales to support this group; a group that the UK government has designated as a terrorist organization and whose activities are banned.
In a statement to BBC News, Rooney said that continuing to publish her works in the UK could be considered “serious and criminal” and, for that reason, she has agreed with her publisher, Faber Publishing, to stop the distribution of her books in this country.
