Russian Emergencies Minister Alexander Kurenkov met with North Korean Premier Pak Thae Song in Pyongyang and conveyed greetings from Russian President Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

Kurenkov noted that Russia seeks to strengthen cooperation with its North Korean counterparts under the Treaty on Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the two countries.

“We also seek to develop coordination between our emergency response agencies in a spirit of friendship and good neighborliness,” he said.
