Russia struck a warehouse with ammunition near Kyiv. It is reported that 27 people were killed and dozens were injured.

At least 27 people died as a result of a Russian strike and the subsequent detonation at an enterprise in the Bucha district of Kyiv Oblast. Kyiv Oblast State Administration head Timur Tkachenko said this.

At least 42 more people were injured, including four children.

As Timur Tkachenko said, at one of the enterprises in the village of Milya in the Bucha district, in the night of August 29, numerous explosions occurred as a result of an attack by Russian troops, and a severe fire began.

“From the area of the emergency, 381 people were evacuated, including 59 children,” he said.

Regional authorities reported that during the attack by Russian troops and the subsequent detonation, about 50 residential buildings were damaged.

The Russian Ministry of Defense said that in the village of Milya, a warehouse of ammunition belonging to the Fire Point company was hit. According to the agency, the storage facilities contained “components and launch accelerators for long-range FP-1/FP-2 unmanned aerial vehicles.”

According to Timur Tkachenko, among the dead was the head of the Dmytriv community, Taras Dydych, who “one of the first went to the site of the incident.”
