Zelensky: by autumn Ukraine will have its own long-range ballistic missile

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, in an interview with Reuters, promised that Ukraine’s own long-range ballistic missile FP-9 will appear this autumn, and said that he personally demanded that the missile development company Fire Point speed up the work.

💬I told them: where is my FP-9?💬 — with a smirk, as the agency writes, Zelensky said.

💬We need FP-9. And FP-9 will be ready this autumn, I’m sure💬, — the president added.

On October 1, Zelensky announced the first combat launch of the tactical ballistic missile FP-7 developed by Fire Point.

According to Fire Point’s statements, FP-7 has a range of up to 200 km and a warhead weighing 150 kg.

The stated range of FP-9 is 855 km, and the warhead is 800 kg.
