🔺Rubio: It is correct to attribute the attack on RAF Fairford to the Islamic Republic

▪The U.S. Secretary of State said the United States fully agrees with the U.K.’s assessment, which holds the Islamic Republic responsible for the planning and guidance of the attack on the Fairford airbase.

▪Marco Rubio said, “British officials have clearly said that Iranians were behind the attack on this airbase. Of course we have no reason to disagree with this accurate assessment. In fact, we completely agree and support the findings of the U.K.”

▪On October 6 (Mehr 5), the British police reported an event described as “big” near the Fairford base and detained five British nationals on charges of terrorism and crimes related to explosive materials. On October 9 (Mehr 9), a person with dual Iranian and British citizenship was detained and later released.
