Rasht police commander says an unidentified person attacked a cleric with a cold weapon.

Earlier, local media in Gilan Province had reported that Mohammad Ebrahim Rafiee, in the Hafiz Abad neighborhood of Rasht, was attacked with a cleaver and a knife after the noon and afternoon prayers.

The Rasht police commander also said that the cleric’s current physical condition is favorable.
