Radar imagery on 10 Mordad showed that all three export terminals on Kharg Island are empty. Based on a report by the maritime data analytics company Windward, the western terminal has been empty for 14 days, and the liquefied gas terminal has remained empty for five days.

In the waiting area, 19 oil tankers with transponders switched off are present; two days ago, the figure was 17 vessels. Windward considers this increase a sign of a growing queue behind idle terminals.

Kharg Island is the Islamic Republic’s main oil export terminal. The United States has reinstated the maritime blockade of Iran’s ports as of 23 Tir, and the U.S. Central Command says the blockade will be fully enforced and that it will disable vessels that do not comply with orders.
