🔺Qatar calls for a halt to the Islamic Republic’s “irresponsible” attacks in the Strait of Hormuz
▪ Qatar’s media director at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the Islamic Republic must stop its attacks in the Strait of Hormuz and implement international laws on freedom of navigation.
▪ Ibrahim bin Sultan Ibrahim Al Hashemi called these attacks “irresponsible” and said the Islamic Republic’s actions harm the region and its people.
▪ Al Hashemi also, in response to the Revolutionary Guards’ threat to cut undersea internet cables, warned that if the internet is cut, all countries in the region—including the Islamic Republic—will be affected.
▪ He said the only solution that preserves regional security and stability is a peaceful solution at the negotiating table, adding that the sooner they reach a solution, the better.
