The Palestinian organization has condemned the attack on a Qatar gas-carrying vessel.

The targeting of a liquefied gas cargo ship from Qatar in the Persian Gulf has been met with condemnation from governments and regional countries.

As reactions continued, the Palestinian organization also, while condemning the attack, emphasized its solidarity and support for the State of Qatar.

Qatar’s official news agency has written that Hussein al-Shaykh, deputy chairman of the Palestinian organization, in a statement “emphasized full solidarity of this organization with the State of Qatar and announced its opposition to any aggressive act that could endanger the security and stability of the region.”

Earlier, the Gulf Cooperation Council issued a statement condemning the attack and calling it a “dangerous escalation of tension.” Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Kuwait are among the countries that condemned the attack.
