Pakistan’s foreign minister and the Islamic Republic discussed in New York;

Deputy Prime Minister and Pakistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs met with the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran on the sidelines of the eighty-first session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

The Pakistan Ministry of Foreign Affairs wrote on its X social media account that Muhammad Ishaq Dar and Abbas Araghchi discussed bilateral relations during the meeting, and exchanged views on regional and international developments.

The Pakistani foreign minister stressed the importance of dialogue, diplomacy, and ongoing interaction in promoting regional peace and stability, and the two sides agreed to remain in close contact.
