Pakistan invited the Speaker of Iran’s Islamic Republic Parliament and the Minister of Foreign Affairs for urgent talks about regional developments. These invitations were delivered in Tehran on Monday night.
Ayaz Sadiq, head of Pakistan’s parliament, invited Mohammad-Baqer Qalibaf, the Speaker of Iran’s parliament and the senior negotiator of the Islamic Republic with Washington. Ishaq Dar, Deputy Prime Minister and Pakistan’s Foreign Minister, also, in a phone call with Abbas Araghchi, his Iranian counterpart, asked him to travel to Pakistan at the earliest possible opportunity.
