The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) says Iran’s daily oil production fell by 99,000 barrels in the past month as well, dropping to 1.957 million barrels; a figure that is only equivalent to Iran’s domestic oil consumption.

Iran’s average daily oil production last year was about 3.26 million barrels.

By contrast, the daily oil production of other OPEC members (including the UAE) in September rose beyond 25 million barrels, which is roughly in line with this group’s 2025 production levels.

In the meantime, Tanker Trackers has also reported that the daily oil exports of Arab countries in the region in the current month reached 17.27 million barrels, which is at the same level as the period before the war. Iran’s oil exports have been halted since mid-July.
