🔺New $250,000 Bond Requirement for Some U.S. Visa Applicants

◾ The administration of President Donald Trump has announced a new pilot program under which some applicants for U.S. immigration visas who are considered likely to become a “financial burden on the government” must provide a bond of up to $250,000 in order to obtain the visa.
