For a very long time, radical climate activists have tried to hold our great nation hostage by massively and irrationally expanding the enforcement of laws governing endangered species.

This action was a complete and total overreach in rulemaking by unelected bureaucrats! By restricting the production of important resources such as oil, natural gas, and wood, as well as preventing the construction of family homes and vital infrastructure, they treated the people of the United States unfairly. Even our Army could not conduct military training on lands that were declared “off-limits” for protecting a small rodent.

Now my administration has restored the Endangered Species Act in exactly the way it was intended; just as Great Judge Antonin Scalia explained in prior cases. While we will continue to protect our beautiful country responsibly, the United States of America will once again build and advance. Thank you for your attention to this matter!
