🔺Mutual attacks by Russia and Ukraine leave 14 dead

▪The latest attacks by Ukraine on Russia killed at least 9 people, and Russia’s attacks on Ukraine killed at least five, officials in both countries announced on Sunday.

▪Based on United Nations data, civilian casualties in Ukraine have risen sharply this year, as Russia has increased its use of long-range missiles whose interception is difficult.

▪Kyiv also carried out waves of retaliatory attacks on energy facilities and Russian retail depots to force Moscow into negotiations. On Russian territory, three people were killed in Udmurtia province and three in Belgorod, and two more died in the city of Engels in Saratov province.
