🔶Murder of Maryam Yarmohammadi; femicide with the blade of honor and “family honor” 🔻Report by Niloofar Gholami

Early on Monday, 13 Mehr 1405, became the last day of Maryam Yarmohammadi’s life. This 28-year-old woman, who was the mother of two children, was killed in Qeshm by her brother, with the cooperation of her husband, in a horrifying manner, and her sexual organs were mutilated.

The “Campaign to Stop Honor Killings,” citing direct observations by an informed source regarding this horrific killing, reported that after Maryam Yarmohammadi died in the hospital and her brother was detained, about 50 members of her family and relatives gathered at the scene and protested the detention of Maryam’s brother.

These people believed that Maryam Yarmohammadi’s death was “the least punishment.”
