Moment a container ship was struck that later sank in waters off Bulgaria;

The “Kentship Jet” ship flying the flag of Liberia, carrying 421 containers, on a route from Haifa to Constanta, Romania, was targeted by three naval drones in Bulgaria’s exclusive economic zone, outside its territorial waters.

All 18 crew members—14 Filipinos and four Ukrainians—were rescued and reached Varna port.

The ship’s cargo included lithium-ion batteries, corrosive liquids, and acid, and initial checks found no clear signs of contamination.
