Mohammadreza Naqdi, an adviser to the Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps, announced on Wednesday, 15 Mehr, that “whenever the Leader of the Islamic Republic grants permission,” the Islamic Republic will increase the range of its missiles in proportion to the needs of the battlefield.

The adviser to the Commander-in-Chief of the IRGC said: “The limited range of our weapons is not due to technical reasons; rather, it stems from our policy.”

Naqdi, speaking about the Strait of Hormuz, said: “The Strait of Hormuz is closed, and this situation will continue until the demands of the Islamic Republic are met.”

He also added that the Islamic Republic “blocks ‘illegal’ routes” in the Strait of Hormuz.

The adviser to the Commander-in-Chief of the IRGC added: “The volume of smuggled oil is very small, and some engage in smuggling oil using small vessels and transferring it to oil tankers.”
