Mohammadreza Aref, Vice President of Masoud Pezeshkian, on Monday the 20th of Mehr, said: “We are not a country that has been established for several decades, so that they come to take away our dignity and then kick us; we are a civilization thousands of years old that, from Alexander and the Mongols to every other invader, has subdued them with our science, literature and culture, and in the end defended our own identity.”

According to the state news agency IRNA, Aref, Pezeshkian’s first vice president, continued: “The front of science and technology is moving forward at speed, and enemies should know that if they commit a mistake, this time they will receive a response that is far more firm and powerful.”

Aref added: “Weak rulers of some Islamic countries, against the will of their nations, with dependence and repeated appeasement, have led the West to the false belief that the Middle East must be their milch cow.”
