🔸Mohammad-Baqer Qalibaf says the naval blockade of Iran by the United States is “a military action,” and the Islamic Republic “will certainly respond with a military response.”

🔸The head of the parliament and Iran’s chief negotiator said in a video message released on Tuesday, 10 Shahrivar, that Iran has control of the Strait of Hormuz and warned against any escalation of the maritime blockade by the United States.

🔸Qalibaf once again threatened that if Iran does not export oil from the Persian Gulf, “then no one will export oil from the Persian Gulf.”

🔸Donald Trump, the U.S. president, described the situation in the Strait of Hormuz on the evening of Monday, 9 Shahrivar, as “very good,” and said that on average “30 ships” cross this waterway each night with the help of the U.S. Navy.

🔸After attacks attributed to Iran on several oil tankers in mid-Tir, the U.S. Army carried out attacks on different parts of Iran for two weeks, and Islamic Republic forces also targeted several regional countries with missiles and drones.

🔸These clashes effectively erased the understanding reached in Islamabad, and Washington resumed its maritime blockade of Iran as of 23 Tir.
