The head of Israel’s Internal Security Agency traveled secretly to the United States on Saturday night, the first foreign trip since he took the post.

According to a report by Israel’s Channel 13 television, David Zini went to Washington to meet his counterparts at the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation.

A source whose name was not disclosed told the network that the talks involve “sensitive matters,” without providing further details.

According to Channel 13, the topics discussed include settler violence in the West Bank and the hurried transfer of Yair Netanyahu, the prime minister of Israel’s son, from Miami to Israel.

Neither Israel nor the United States has announced the trip.
