Ali Reza Arefi, the Friday Prayer Imam of Qom, said in the Friday sermon in this city: “We knew the United Arab Emirates as such and recognized this state as small, contemptible, and dependent. They shook hands with Netanyahu and held talks; this is a treacherous act, which will be recorded and documented in the case files, and these traitors to Islamic countries will be punished.”

Arefi continued: “The ugly, filthy, and foul inner nature of America and Israel has become more clearly revealed than at any time before today. But even uglier and worse than that is the disgrace and betrayal of some countries in the region for siding with America and Israel.”

The Friday Prayer Imam of Qom added: “Even more ugly than all of this is that in the war in which Netanyahu has killed 70,000 Arabs—Arab, Sunni, and Muslim— the head of the Emirates, with utmost impudence and brazenness, has met with him. Shame on you, shame on you; the Muslim nations will one day call you to account.”
