🎥 Masked armed attackers attack “Iran-Cola” factory; they tied up the guards and set the plant on fire
In the early hours of Sunday, the first of Shahrivar (23 August), at least 12 unknown armed individuals, after entering the “Iran-Cola” soft drink manufacturing plant in the industrial town of Iranshahr, in Sistan and Baluchestan province, tied up the hands and feet of two guards and set parts of the factory on fire.
The Telegram channel “Halvosh” reported this news. According to the report, the masked armed men entered the factory at around 4 a.m., and after subduing the guards, they set the warehouse of materials and packaging equipment on fire.
Based on this report, due to the factory being closed, the night-shift workers were not present at the site. About 10 fire engines were dispatched to the location from 7 a.m. to contain the blaze, and firefighting operations continued for several hours. This fire caused extensive damage to parts of the factory, but the exact amount of damage is not known. So far, no verified information about the identity and motive of the armed individuals has been released.
