Marco Rubio, the U.S. Secretary of State, said on Friday that reports related to the earthquake in southern Panama is being closely followed. Rubio said the United States stands with the people of Panama. He added that the U.S. Department of State, at the request of the Panamanian government, is quickly mobilizing resources and forces for relief efforts.
