🔺 Maduro and his wife attend a US court hearing on new charges of torturing political opponents

▪ Nicolás Maduro, the deposed president of Venezuela, and his wife Cilia Flores, will appear in a court in New York on Thursday, Mehr 23 (October 14), to respond to fresh charges of involvement in a plot to torture political opponents. The charge is added to their prior case about cooperation with drug traffickers.
