Lithuania is prepared to host a permanent US military base.

“Lithuania covers the costs of hosting US troops, invests heavily in creating the infrastructure needed for the presence of allies and provides some of the best training conditions for military units in the region,” the country’s Defense Minister Robertas Kaunas said.
