The Eurasian Economic Union with its consumer market of 190 million people is an attractive association for Thailand capable of helping to solve economic problems in the current conditions of global unpredictability, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk said in an interview with TASS.

He noted that in today’s “global economic fragmentation, the breakdown of established international supply chains, and unpredictable tariffs, countries are striving for greater stability and consolidation of trade terms, as well as for creating better competitive advantages for their producers.”

“One of the possible ways to overcome these problems is a Free Trade Agreement,” Overchuk said. “For Thailand, the five EAEU countries with 190 million consumers represent an attractive market.”
