Leading Polish opposition politicians have joined protesters outside the Constitutional Tribunal building in Warsaw, Onet reported.

The demonstrations were sparked by the suspension of Bogdan Swieczkowski, acting president of the Constitutional Tribunal.

Amid the protests, Polish President Karol Nawrocki, who abruptly cut short his visit to Senegal and returned to Warsaw, is holding an emergency meeting with the Supreme Court president over the crisis surrounding the Constitutional Tribunal, Onet reported.
