Kaveh Madani, winner of the “Water Nobel” prize: I am with Iran and will stay that way
🔸The Water Prize, referred to as the “Water Nobel,” has been awarded to scientists and leading figures in the field of water for about 35 years. The 2026 prize winner is Kaveh Madani, a water specialist and head of the Institute for Water, Environment and Health at the United Nations University. At age 44, he is the youngest winner of this prize, which he received last night from the King of Sweden in Stockholm.
🔸Mr. Madani, while receiving the prize, composed the song “Sultan of Hearts” and performed the live performances of the late Mohammad-Ali Shirazi and Aref. In an interview with Radio Farda’s program, the Radio Station 19 radio program, he responded to receiving this prize and to news about the group return of Iranians to Iran.
