The Baha’i community reported “theft of personal property” of Baha’is by the Islamic Republic

🔸The global Baha’i community, in a statement sent to Radio Farda on Thursday, reported that in the latest action against Baha’is in Iran, “government agents raided the homes of Baha’is in seven provinces and seized their personal belongings [and] took them away.”

🔸Simin Fahndaj, representative of the global Baha’i community to the United Nations in Geneva, said in this regard: “This is a government theft in broad daylight—that is, stealing people’s personal property in the name of the government. The fact that this government entered your home, taking your jewelry, your marriage ring, your car, and your other assets, does not give this action any legal legitimacy.

🔸Sepehr Atayi, a journalist and filmmaker, reported on the X network about the attack by intelligence agents on his father’s home and office on the morning of Monday, 2 Shahrivar, in Isfahan.

🔸Mr. Atayi, by posting images of his parents’ home after this raid and a six-hour search, wrote that this was the second time within the past few months that the attack had taken place.
