The judiciary spokesperson announced on Saturday that Mohammad-Baqer Khazaei, secretary-general of “Hezbollah of Iran,” has been summoned to the Special Clergy Court and is under criminal pursuit following his recent remarks.

According to the judiciary spokesperson, considering that Mohammad-Baqer Khazaei is a cleric, any possible charges against him fall within the jurisdiction of the Special Clergy Court. He also said that Khazaei “may have multiple security-related charges,” and that if he does not appear in court, an arrest warrant will be issued for him.
