Israeli President Isaac Herzog met in Jerusalem with Jared Kushner, the U.S. special envoy, and Nikolay Mladenov, the special representative of the Quartet for peace for Gaza, and discussed the next steps in Donald Trump’s 20-point plan for Gaza.

Herzog said that Israel’s security interests are an important and central part of the plan, and that the next steps should help bring stability and a better future for residents of Israel, Gaza, and the entire region, while ensuring the security of Israel and its citizens.
