The Likud party of Israel called for the entry of the police and the Shin Bet into an election-rigging case and announced that it would present hundreds of testimonies and documents for review.
The party said that foreign entities, by paying bribes to voters, interfered to change the balance of power in the Knesset and to remove the right-wing government in the election.
At the same time, Israeli police said they have arrested seven more people on suspicion of election bribery in the “Ra’am-gate” case.
According to the police, the individuals intended to encourage voters to support Ra’am by paying money.
