🔶 Israeli drone explosion in Gaza; two soldiers killed

Agence France-Presse, citing an Israeli military official, reported that two soldiers of this country died after an Israeli drone explosion in the Gaza Strip.

The military official, who asked not to be named, said on Friday that the Israeli drone had crashed near an army base in the Gaza Strip.

According to him, two Israeli soldiers were seriously wounded after approaching the drone due to its explosion. After being transferred to a hospital, the two soldiers died from the severity of their injuries.

The incident comes as, despite a ceasefire that was established last October, the Israeli army continues to target locations in the Gaza Strip.

Hamas and its allies launched an attack on Israel on October 7, 2023. In that attack, more than 1,200 people were killed and 251 people were transferred to the Gaza Strip as hostages.

After those attacks, Israel launched extensive operations in the Gaza Strip.

According to Hamas figures, since the start of the war, more than 73,000 people have been killed in Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip.
