The Israeli Army announced on Thursday, 9 Mehr, in a statement that, following an investigative process, it has been determined that 170 residents of Gaza who were killed during the course of the war and were introduced to the world as journalists and media activists were members of groups including Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad.

The Israeli Army said it has published evidence, including images and documents obtained on the ground, which show the organizational affiliation and role of these individuals.

The army added that in some cases, Hamas and Islamic Jihad had also introduced these individuals as members of their own.
