The Supreme National Security Council of the Islamic Republic announced on Monday, 11 Aban that Mohsen Rezaei, the secretary of the council, and Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia, held a phone conversation about regional and global developments, especially the situation in West Asia.

According to this report, the two sides emphasized continuing the Islamic Republic’s and Russia’s “strategic cooperation within the framework of the roadmap set by the leaders of the two countries.”
