🔸 The IRGC Zanjan issued a statement saying that three forces of this military organization were killed in the early-morning attacks by the United States on Thursday, targeting areas in Iran.
🔸 In the public relations statement of the IRGC’s Zanjan Province, besides the names of these IRGC members, no further details were announced about where they were killed or their rank and place of activity.
🔸 This comes while, until a few hours earlier, Iranian media had announced these areas as the targets of the early-morning attacks on Thursday: “Ahvaz, Abadan, Bandar Abbas, Kish Island, Bandar Anzali in Gilan province, Kazerun and Fasa shaband in Fars province, Chaghadak in Bushehr, Shadegan and Arvandkenar in Khuzestan, and Kish Island.”
🔸 This is the first time that Iranian media have reported that Zanjan was targeted in the latest round of U.S. attacks on Iran, but earlier reports had been published about the firing of a ballistic missile from the Zanjan region.
🔸 At the same time, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) confirmed the missile attacks of Thursday morning on Jordan in a statement and claimed that in this attack on the Al-Azraq air base, it “completely destroyed three F-35 aircraft and inflicted heavy damage on three other aircraft.”
