🔻IRGC response to the closure of its public relations Telegram account

🔻The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has responded to the shutdown of the Telegram account of its public relations office and claimed that it was “fear” of citizens in the region countries sending “accurate information” about the “activities” of U.S. forces in those countries.

In a statement released on Thursday night by the IRGC, published on the Telegram channel “Sepah News,” it was claimed that “the arrogant enemies could not tolerate” the posting of “‘valuable and accurate’ information and data about the activities and bases of the American regime” to an account registered by the IRGC on the Telegram messenger, and that “by shutting down the IRGC public relations account, they once again demonstrated that they have fallen into fear of accurate and valuable data from the dear Muslim community and the coordination among the freedom-loving peoples of the region.”

In the next part of the IRGC public relations statement, it said: “Soon, a new platform will be introduced—new, secure, and reliable—for direct communication with the freedom-loving peoples of the world so that the path of information exchange and awareness-raising will continue to be stronger than before.”

A while back, at the same time as an attack on a U.S. military base in Jordan that resulted in the deaths of at least three American forces, the IRGC, in a statement, had “thanked” Jordanian and Kuwaiti citizens for what it called “sending accurate information.”
