🔻Iraqchi: We will respond to the U.S. proposal within a few days

Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s foreign minister, has said that Iran is still reviewing the U.S. response to a proposal under which the Strait of Hormuz could be reopened within seven days.

According to Tasnim, Mr. Araghchi said: “We raised our plan, which we presented under the title ‘Seven-Day Plan,’ and we also heard the views of the American side in response.”

He added: “At present, we are busy reviewing the Americans’ viewpoints, and I think we will provide our response in the next few days.”

He also said that “the diplomatic process is still ongoing, and messages are being exchanged through intermediaries.”
