Iranian government’s mission to the United Nations, on Thursday, the ninth of Mehr, rejected an Axios report about U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s order for the immediate departure of Abbas Araqchi and his delegation from New York, and announced that the “Iranian delegation” left New York according to the previously planned schedule.

The mission wrote on the X social media platform that the Islamic Republic’s delegation left New York on Monday evening “in accordance with a program that had been set in advance,” and that this plan had also been notified to the U.S. State Department on the 26th of Shahrivar.

The mission added that the U.S. State Department, “having reached no result, has turned to the publication of baseless and worthless news.”
