Iran’s Statistics Center announced in a report that in Tir 1405, point-to-point inflation for households across the country was 87.9%; that is, households across the country, on average, spent 87.9% more in Tir 1405 than in Tir 1404 to purchase a “set of identical goods and services.”

Based on this report, the annual inflation rate in Tir 1405 was 66%, and its range across different expenditure deciles varied from 63.9% for the tenth decile to 73.5% for the second decile.

Iran’s Statistics Center has also reported that in Tir 1405, households’ monthly inflation was 3.1%. Monthly inflation for the major groups “food items, beverages, and tobacco” was 2.5%, and for the major group “non-food goods and services” it was 3.6%.
