In an interview with Mahdi Arbeshehi, we discussed recent changes in IRIB’s political deputyship and how they relate to the new power alignment in the Islamic Republic. Arbeshehi believes the appointment of Mohammad-Saleh Mofateh could reduce the intensity of media confrontation with the government of Pezeshkian and the negotiating-supporting current within power, but that does not mean the pressure on the government has ended.
