🔶 Houthi missile attack on “the Ministry of Defense and the largest oil refinery” in Saudi Arabia

The Houthis in Yemen, who receive support from the Islamic Republic, said on Tuesday (October 27) that, in a series of missile and drone attacks, they targeted the Saudi Ministry of Defense in Riyadh and the Ras Tanura refinery in the east of the country.

According to the French news agency, Saudi officials confirmed intercepting several ballistic missiles, but did not explain whether the missiles hit the targets claimed by the Houthis.

Yahya Saree, a military spokesman for the Houthis, said that the group’s forces targeted the Saudi Ministry of Defense in Riyadh with a ballistic missile. He claimed: “Our armed forces targeted the Ministry of Defense in the enemy’s Saudi capital, Riyadh, with a ballistic missile, and there was a direct hit.”

Saree also said in another statement that there was a missile attack on the Ras Tanura refinery.

Saudi officials said they intercepted and destroyed two ballistic missiles launched toward Riyadh. However, shrapnel from the destruction of the missiles hit a building, a construction project, and a vehicle.
