According to her, the Democrats could increase pressure on him using tools such as challenging the military budget and criticizing Trump’s performance in managing domestic issues. In such a situation, Trump would be forced either to end the war through diplomacy or, by carrying out a large-scale attack, to create the conditions for reaching a diplomatic solution.
