Hengaw reported that Borzou Rezaei, a citizen from Kermanshah and among detainees linked to the protests of Dey 1404, was sentenced to death by Branch 23 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court.

According to this report, Rezaei’s death sentence was issued on the charge of “cooperation with hostile states” and has recently been served to his lawyer. The hearing on his case was held about two months ago at the Tehran Revolutionary Court.

Hengaw wrote that Rezaei was arrested in connection with the nationwide protests in the previous month of Esfand and transferred to Tehran’s Greater Prison, where he is still being held.
