Gholamreza Hashemi, CEO of the Bushehr Province Power Distribution Company, said that the power manager of Asaluyeh County was beaten by a person during the operation to collect illegal cryptocurrency mining devices and, due to the severity of his injuries, was taken to a hospital.

According to Hashemi, following reports about the use of electricity and the repeated burning of transformer switchgear, the power manager of Asaluyeh, along with employees of this company, and with coordination with the judicial authorities, moved to organize non-authorized connections and collect cryptocurrency mining devices.

Hashemi said that during this operation, one person beat up the power manager of Asaluyeh and caused him serious injury.
