🔹The Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom, with the insertion of images of Prince Reza Pahlavi in the Freedom Award ceremony, wrote on its official Twitter account:

“The 2026 Freedom Award belongs to the people of Iran! To their courage. To their unbreakable will for freedom. To those who protest despite the risk to their lives. Those who are in prison for fighting for freedom or who have sacrificed their lives. Those who raise their voices for a #FreeIran in exile.

Today, in the Paulskirche in Frankfurt, we presented the Freedom Award 2026 to them.

Prince Reza Pahlavi received this award on behalf of the people, as a caretaking receipt, until the freely elected representatives of the Iranian people can take it and receive it.

We would like to thank everyone who was at Paulskirche, the thousands of people who were outside and around it, and everyone who joined us through the live broadcast. Your voices and solidarity turned this day into a powerful sign for freedom. We see your courage. We hear your voice. We stand with you.
